3rd March
Oh dear it looks gloomy this morning. Everyone has started with their wet weather on but half an hour into the run to Strahan the sky is cleared and the air crisp. We ran along the coast from Ulverstone to Burnie. This was nice and twisty but nothing to compare what was ahead. The road then went south from Somerset and on through the Hellyer Gorge State Park. This was a fantastic descent into the gorge a great climb out.
Then the road opened out for a good blast into Strahan. The consensus from the gathered multitude was WOW.
Tomorrow is free to take a cruise.
