Leaving Adelaide became a major cause of concern as the we could not get a consensus of opinion from the GPSs. Finally we chose to use my “little lady” to show us the way carefully avoiding the inner city. We headed down the Princes Highway and on to Tailem Bend for brunch. We then tracked on to Mount Gambier to view the Blue Lake.
The Blue Lake is Mount Gambier’s water supply, It is a volcanic crater and the water is the surrounding water table exposed. The water level hardly varies and it is a magnificent colour blue. The colour in the photo is untouched.
It was then on to Warrnambool Vic for the night. Found a motel on the main drag which was that good we have decided to stop another night as we are well ahead of schedule.
Wow! Now that’s some awesome blue water. Almost looks like a solid substance you could walk over.
